Besides the detoxication our kidneys have the duty to control and excrete the water of our body.
During dialysis this duty is handled by ultra filtration (pressure difference) at the dialyser. To adjust the dialysis machine it is important to know how many water has to be removed. Therefore the patients are weighed before and also after the dialysis treatment.
The scale made by the German company Soehnle is located in the back of the base seg¬ment and indicates the patient‘s weight also during treatment. It can be operated easily by hand switch. The scale has an accuracy of 100 g by measuring a maximum weight of 240 kg.
The combination of dialysis chair and scale improves and facilitates the dialysis treatment, also it releases the staff.
